"focus"
i created this image in relation to the mind (or what i like to call
the 'pointer' in my mind/pointer - intuition/guidance learning
and memory-minder phrase). specifically, i was thinking about
choice and motivation as being influenced by where we station
or 'park' our focus.
both the blessings and challenges of life can be
motivating. a consciousness of fullness can be inspirational.
being aware of lack can also motivate us to improve our
circumstance. both tend to motivate a little differently. only we
can say which know motivates us best, most frequently, and why.
through the law/art of attraction, stationing ourselves in
fullness or making a habit of exploring our fullness, could
consequently help reinforce our experiences of fullness.
when 'parked' in inner fullness, we might also be better
able to celebrate another's fullness. if we have developed a pattern
of seeing ourselves as perpetually lacking something, it may be that
whatever we receive or obtain will not satisfy. truly, nothing will satisfy
unless it quenches the root of the issue. also, when focused on what we
think we lack, we might also tend to see others' as inimical to
us (i.e. another's success might reinforce our idea that
we 'lack something').
none of us inherently lack anything. we are all
magnificent: really, truly, and deeply. it may be that, sometimes,
we have some trouble exploring, accepting, or believing this
idea ...which is fine (sometimes) - after all, we are all subject to
life's experiences. we breathe the same air; we share the same sun;
we're on the same planet...all is well it seems, as long as we are
careful not to meander too long in lack.
truly, we are so intimately connected that another's success
is also our success; another's growth is also our growth. to use a
metaphor: fingers, arms, skin, and nails all go together, quite
harmoniously, in the same body...so, take heart and focus on the
exploring the uniqueness that is you. love yourself!
right at this moment, stop everything, and love yourself.
love yourself for all that you are, are that you were, and
all that you will be. love yourself for the bumps, the poor spelling,
and that nice fuzzy feeling that you get whenever
— oh wait, that's not my story. i apologize; it's
your story...and the is waiting for you to share it.
