"exploring shiva"

here is an image of shiva, which is referred to in my poetry
as "that shiva who sits with shakti."

shiva is oft referred to as: that one who is all Bliss and the giver of happiness to all; that one with a special third eye that, once turned inward, enables one to see with new eyes all around oneself; that destroyer of worlds therefore, and creator of worlds anew; that one who dispels ignorance via the fire, brilliance and sweetest peace of illumination; that one of great illusions; that one who is difficult to know; that one of Infinite vision; that Purity; that pure Consciousness; that one of extreme intelligence; that place of innocence and kindness; that protector; that Inner guide; that Imperishable one; that victor of death; that Compassionate one; that giver of peace; that icon of concentration, meditation, yoga; that creator of OM; that Source of Everything; that Illuminator of the vedas; the Unborn one; the Supreme; that which leads one to directly to the Self, and an illustrated method of arriving at the same.

notably, Shankara was also the name of a very important prophet (more here).

recommended: any shiva mantra to recite regularly, with ample concentration on that space on the upper part in between the eyebrows, in front of the forehead.
saraswati mantras are also good for this purpose...then again, perhaps any method
is — when undertaken with a very deep desire or longing to know God, steadfastness (or perhaps stubbornness), and an open heart/mind...the poetry of many mystic poets of different faiths would seem to strongly agree with this idea, as well. It seems to me, anyway, that via whatever method of self/God inquiry the undertook, the eventually arrived at much the same place. They gently exposed the same realizations, albeit perhaps using different words.

on the path of devotion and feeling like you are getting nowhere?
please have no worry my Dear Divine Friend; sometimes these things just a little bit
of take time. simply enjoy every moment of your personal path and, perhaps try to relinquish any prominent expectations, if present. may you meet the Divine, everywhere.
